We have some immediate needs for volunteers. Please see the information below and contact us ASAP if you would like to join our team!

Some specific positions that are currently open include:

Family Support

A major component of our program involves providing friendship mentors for the mothers and school aged children we support. Right now we need mentors for three children who are already living at the house. We also need women interested in friendship mentoring for single mothers who will join our program in the next few months. We also have family support needs in the following areas:

• Life skills instruction
• Childcare
• Transportation
• Prayer chain

Board Members

Join our board of directors. Executive members should be passionate about the Candeo vision and willing to commit 10-15 hours per month for a minimum of one year.

Construction Volunteers

Our upper two suites are finished but we still have a lot of renovating left to do in the lower two suites.

Specific volunteer needs:

• Experienced person to manage/oversee construction
• Skilled tradespeople in: framing, heating, plumbing, electrical, roofing, drywall, taping, painting, finishing carpentry, cabinetry, flooring
• Volunteers to lend a hand

We also need all supplies necessary for development of a suite as well as a dumpster or dumptruck for removal of materials. Contact us if you have leftover supplies from a recent renovation or if you know a company who might be willing to donate.

Some other areas we need assistance with include:

• Fundraising
• Community Relations
